Who doesn’t love a black Friday sale? I know I do. I have never been one for fighting large crowds, or waiting in line for hours upon hours to buy an in-store item on Black Friday. Thank goodness for online shopping! Let’s be honest though, Black Friday is no longer just a day, it’s more of a one or two week extravaganza. If you are a mom, the chances that you are scouring the internet for some good deals to buy your children for the holidays are pretty great.
Well mama, this shopping guide is for you (sorry kids!). You work hard every day, so why shouldn’t you get to benefit from these Holiday sales? The gifts I’ve chosen are meant to make mom life a little easier, as well as items that will allow you some time for self care. Not a mom yet? Plenty of these items will apply to you too.
Time to mark your favorites, and send them in an email to your hubby (who I’m sure needs Christmas gift ideas anyway)! So, after you’ve had time to digest all that turkey from Thanksgiving, you’ll be nice and prepared for black Friday shopping from the comfort of your own home.
Best black Friday gifts for moms: around the home
This first group of gifts are items that you very-well could use every day. Once you have them, you’ll think what did I do before this? All of us can use a little convenience now and then.
Ring Video Doorbell Pro: $179 (normally $249)
This popular video doorbell is on major sale this Black Friday! If you don’t have a video doorbell, they are so amazing and bring a sense of instant security. You will get alerts via Alexa, yoru tablet, and/or your phone when there is activity outside of your house. So worth it!
iRobot Roomba: $219 (normally $249)
A robot vacuum that cleans my floors without my help? Sign me up! Roomba is ideal for homes with pets, and can be used on carpets or hardwood floors. Is it very well priced compared to other robot vacuums on the market, and has amazing reviews.
Instapot: $79 (normally $99)
This is one of the top-rated Instapots on Amazon. If you haven’t joined the Instapot fan community, now is the perfect time to do so. It will save you so much time on cooking delicious meals. I love my Instapot. It is a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, saute, yogurt maker, and warmer all in one. Woah. When you order one, let’s exchange recipes!
Echo Dot: $34.99 (normally $49.99)
If you love your Alexa, these are a super inexpensive way to add one to any room in your home. My favorite way to use them is for timers and music. Mom hack: put one in your child’s room to play lullabies as they go to sleep. This particular model comes in several fun colors, too!
Best black Friday gifts for expecting moms, new moms, and experienced moms:
If you are expecting a baby, or have had one recently, you will be spending a lot of time at home after the birth. You’ll need a little me time to help take care of yourself.
Women’s Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Cardigan: $67 (normally $134)
Barefoot Dreams is a cozy line of bathrobes, blankets, and lounge apparel sold at Nordstrom. If you haven’t tried their products yet, you are in for a treat. Their items can be pricey, but are super well made and so.so.so. worth it. This one is 50% off, so I would definitely take advantage especially as the cold months approach us. Loungewear perfection.
Teddy Bear Faux Fur Robe: $39 (normally $79)
Pottery Barn is what home design dreams are made of. I often forget they sell amazing loungewear perfect for those lazy days. This robe might result in you never wanting to leave the house…but don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s so soft, and comes in six beautiful color options. At-home spa day, anyone?
Cozy Pom Pom Throw: $29 (normally $49)
To continue with the cozy theme, this blanket will be a match made in heaven with the robe above. It also comes in several color choices. I can picture snuggling on the couch watching some Hallmark Christmas movies with this pick! Anyone else?
All New Kindle: $59.99 (normally $89.99)
As a new mom (or experienced mom) reading may be a hobby that you hardly have time for anymore. Why not make it a priority to carve aside some time each day for reading again? This model comes with a light that makes it comfortable to read inside and outside. Right now, an additional special offer includes a $5 eBook credit when you purchase.
Fit Bit Versa 2: $148 (normally $199)
Speaking of making time for yourself, remember when you had time to exercise? If you still do, go mama! If not, this Fit Bit is an awesome motivator to help you get going again. It also has a built in Alexa, so you can actually ask it questions like what will the weather be today? Or how many hours of sleep did i get last night? Nevermind, I don’t want to know the answer to that one! But, this does give you personal insights about your sleep habits, which can be pretty interesting.
FlashPatch Eye Gels: $40 (normally $50)
New mom and tired eyes go together like peanut butter and jelly. Eye gels are such a huge help to make you look, and more importantly, feel more like yourself even after another long sleepless night.
Ergo Baby Carrier: $102 (normally $159)
All those chores you need to do around the house? Add a newborn and you have a total extra challenge. Moms to be, let me introduce you to the baby carrier. The Ergo is favorite among moms, and doesn’t go on sale often. Dads will love this one too!
