Easy Instant Pot Chili RecipeWhat Sides To Serve With Chili

Cornbread

Cornbread and chili is a classic pairing that people absolutely love. The sweetness and crumbly texture combined can help to balance out the heat of the chili.

Rice

Fluffy white or brown rice soaks up all of the delicious chili juices and adds a hearty element to the meal.

Tortilla Chips

Tortilla chips are absolutely perfect for dipping. They add a nice, crunchy texture and can be used to scoop up any extra chili.

Garden Salad

A light, fresh garden salad with crisp greens, tomatoes, and a zesty dressing can provide a really nice, refreshing contrast against the chili.

Coleslaw

The creamy, crunchy slaw can add a nice contrast and coolness to the spicy chili.

Baked Potatoes

Serving chili over baked potatoes creates a filling and satisfying dish for everyone to enjoy.

What To Do With Leftover Chili

Refrigeration

Once your chili has cooled to room temperature, put it in an airtight container. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days, but is best eaten as soon as possible. It just needs to be sealed tightly to prevent contamination.

Freezing

For a longer storage option, freeze your chili in individual portions when it’s cooled to room temperature. Use freezer-safe bags or containers, and make sure that you label them with the correct date. It can last up to 3 months in the freezer.

Chili Tacos

Use your leftover chili as a filling for tacos. Then add your favourite toppings like lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, and avocado.

Chili Mac

Mix your chili with cooked pasta for a hearty and delicious chili Mac. Top with cheese and bake it for a nice, comforting dish.

Chili Quesadillas

Spread some chili between tortillas with cheese and grill until crispy for a quick, yummy quesadilla.

Chili Stuffed Peppers

Hollow out your bell peppers and fill them with chili, then bake until they’re tender enough to cut through with ease.
