My UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 and MESA Review

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. All opinions are 100% mine.

My UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 ReviewOne of the most important products you can buy as a mom of young children is your stroller. With so many different options in the market today, this decision can be overwhelming.

I’m currently using the UPPABaby CRUZ V2 and absolutely love it. I want to share some of my favorite features of this stroller with you today.  If you aren’t familiar with the UPPABaby brand, they are an American company that makes high-quality baby products which are both stylish and practical.

UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 Features

UPPABaby has multiple stroller designs of all shapes and sizes depending on your needs and number of children. The Cruz V2 has been the perfect model for us because of its streamlined design. Some of its notable features include:

  • full-size reversible toddler seat with higher back and longer leg rest
  • extendable canopy with UPF 50+ protection
  • large front and rear tires
  • large easy-access basket with storage pockets
  • optional PiggyBack ride-along-board can be added for a second child
  • one-step fold
  • one-button telescoping handlebar to accommodate parents of various heights
  • full-size forward and parent-facing toddler seat with multi-position recline

Why I Love the Cruz V2

There are several reasons why I’m more than satisfied with the UPPAbaby CRUZ V2. Most importantly, I could tell it was safe and well-made the minute I took it out of the box. After using it for some time, here are some important things to note about it.

1. Just the right size

When choosing a stroller for Rumi, I knew I wanted a full-size stroller but also didn’t want anything huge. Some strollers are so large that they are difficult to maneuver. At the same time, full-size strollers are better for infants and you get the most use out of them. The CRUZ V2 is perfect because it’s full size, but the smaller of the V2 models. Is is meant for children up to 50 pounds, so we will get a lot of use out of it.

2. Adaptable with the MESA infant car seat

One of the biggest selling points for me is that the CRUZ V2 is compatible with the MESA infant car seat without the need for any extra adapters. You simple click the infant seat in and out of the stroller…so easy! When I’m traveling around with four kids, I’m all about easy.

3. Huge basket

You know how almost all strollers advertise that their storage basket is big? Well, the Cruz V2’s basket actually is large.  If you are a parent, you know how much junk can accumulate when you’re out and about. A basket that you can truly use is a huge win.

4. Easy steering and brake system

There’s nothing worse than pushing a heavy stroller and struggling to get it to turn or steer well on a bumpy sidewalk or gravel.  The CRUZ V2 has smooth steering and well-made light tires that are shock-absorbent. It’s perfect for walking around town. It has a very simple color-coded parking brake that you can easily push and release with your foot, even in sandals.

5. Beautiful design

As with other UPPAbaby products, the CRUZ V2 is sleek and designed well.  It has a premium leather handle bar, and is available in several color combinations. It even comes with a rain cover and bug shield.

Rumi is currently about 5 months old, and still using the MESA infant seat. Because of COVID, the only time she leaves the house right now is to get in the car or go for a walk, so we haven’t been out and about as much as we’d like!

Soon I’ll slowly transition her to the regular stroller seat. I’m looking forward to trying it out and I’ll update this post later when we reach that point! If you are in the marketing for a new stroller, I highly suggest taking a look at the UPPAbaby CRUZ V2!
