My Favorite Baby Essential: CreamHaus Bumper Mat Review

I’m so excited to share one of my recent baby product finds: the CreamHaus Bumper Mat. I came across this awesome looking bumper bed on social media and was fortunate enough receive one to try out for review for Mommy Diary readers.

As a Korean American, I’m a huge fan of baby products made in Korea because I know how high quality and well-designed they can be. From beauty products to latest gadgets, Korea is always creating innovative products that are not only functional but aesthetically pleasing.

What is the CreamHaus Bumper Mat?

CreamHaus Bumper Mat is a multifunctional luxury bumper mat that can be used as a bed, activity gym, play mat and ball pool. It’s like having a play pen, activity gym, napper and changing table all in one. As you can see, it has softly padded bumpers on all four sides and can be used in various settings and rooms.

CreamHaus Bumper Mat Review

I used this mat for about two weeks before creating this blog post because I wanted to get a good idea about its pros and cons. After using it daily in my downstairs living room, I absolutely love this bumper mat for the following reasons.

  • It’s softer and bigger than traditional play pens like the Graco
  • It’s easy to assemble
  • It’s easy to move from room to room
  • It’s lightweight
  • It’s versatile and can be used in so many ways
  • It’s made with recyclable foam with 100% cotton
  • It has extra thick non-toxic food grade polyethylene PE foam for shock absorption
  • It’s free of PVC, EVA, and VOC
  • The colors are neutral and pretty to look at

How I’m using the CreamHaus bumper mat

The entire first floor of my home is made up of porcelain tile floor (obviously put in before planning more kids) and there is no soft carpet for the baby to lay on. I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen and the living room and needed an easily accessible, clean and safe place for me to put down my son. Prior to this bumper mat, my baby always had to be strapped in a swing or placed on a blanket on the floor which wasn’t very sanitary because we have three dogs in the same space.creamhaus-bumper-mat-baby-play

Thanks to CreamHaus Bumper Mat, my problem has been resolved. Now my son has a designated space to play and nap and I don’t have to worry about him being strapped in a swing for too long while I get work done around the house. I can even change him in here if I put down some blankets and lay down next to him to pat him to sleep when needed.

My favorite part? The color is neutral and blends in perfectly with my grown up decor. No more bright rainbow colors that make my entire living room look like daycare. If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that the living room and dining room are my favorite places in the home that I like to keep simple, clutter free and pretty. Every other room in the house seems to be taken over by kid things!

Thanks to the designers who realize kids’ products don’t always have to be in primary colors, this baby mat isn’t an eye sore even if it sits right in between my formal dining and living room. Instead, I get tons of compliments on this mat and everyone remarks about what a great product this is for parents. Many have already said they wish they had something like this when their kids were little.

Overall, I find this mat to be multifunctional, safe, easy to use and useful for parents with little ones. Here are the detailed photos.

Mobile arms can be tucked inside the pockets like this, making it super easy to put together and break down for travel.

Each corner is attached by ribbons you can tie. I love small details like these.

Mat and bumpers are softly padded to avoid any tears if your baby falls backwards.

Multiple mobile arms have hooks where you can hang mobiles and/or various hanging toys. You can switch out the toys at any time, which helps keep your child’s interest and curiosity strong.

The dimensions are 63 in x 43 in x 16 in

In the box, you will find a base play mat, 4 piece bumpers and mobile arms. The base play mat is made of recyclable foam with 100% cotton cover and the side bumpers are made from compressed and recyclable foam with 100% cotton cover. The cover is machine washable in cold water and free of PVC & formamide. The fact that it’s easy to clean is a huge bonus with multiple children and dogs in the house.

As you can see, my 6 week old son is just starting to look up, focus on objects and play alone in the bumper mat. I can’t wait to see how he will grow into this. One day, we will use it as a ball mat and play pen! I just love baby gear that is multi-functional and will last for more than one stage of life. I will update with more photos as he grows.

What do you think? Would you consider using this bumper mat for your child?

*Thank you CreamHaus USA for sending me this bumper mat to share for my readers. All photos and opinions are my own.

  1. Oh that thing looks awesome. The baby companies improve their game every year. If I were to have another one (my youngest is 2.5), I would totally get one of these!

  2. Really interested in this! My only issue is how soon my 3 month old might grow out of it. Once he starts crawling it looks like he can climb over the sides. What are your thoughts on that?

    1. My son is now almost 5 months and he still uses it daily. I wouldn’t be able to work without it because this is where I nap him and keep him during the day. With that said, it probably won’t be effective in keeping him in there once he crawls but I plan to continue to nap and change him in here during the day. So far it has been worth it.

  3. Very nice photos. Thanks for sharing. Was searching around for bumper bed for my child because she always hit her head onto the cot. 🙁

I love this bumper bed but the height of the bumper is too low as what SASA has mentioned. Any idea how old can this be used to?

I also found another bumper bed with high bumper guard at https://www.littlebaby.com.sg/collections/lolbaby
Able to share your thoughts on this? Since you have experience in this. Thank you 🙂

  4. This company appears to no longer be valid. The website is still up (most items out of stock), but there have been bbb complaints over the past couple years that payments are made with orders not being fulfilled. Multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service.
